HOW TO MAKE SUJI/RAVA UPMA?

Ingredients:

  • Rava – 40g
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Asafetida – 1 pinch
  • Mustard seeds – ¼ tsp
  • Whole red chili – 1
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Ginger – 5g
  • Onion – 30g
  • Water – ½ cup
  • Salt – ¼ tsp.
  • Coriander leaves- 1 spring
  • Green chili, chopped – 1 

Method:

  1. Roast the rava till golden brown. Remove.
  2. In a karahi, heat the oil fry asafetida, sputter mustard seeds and add whole red chili, fry the chopped curry leaves and green chili. Then fry chopped onion and ginger.
  3. Add water and salt and bring it to boil.
  4. Add roasted rava and cook it till mass is dry.
  5. Serve hot with coriander leaves.
