HOW TO MAKE VEG PULAO?

INGREDIENTS:

  • Rice – 500 g
  • Beans – 115 g
  • Carrot – 115 g
  • Onion – 115 g
  • Tomato – 115 g
  • Cauliflower – 55 g
  • Salt – as per your taste.
  •  Cardamom – 2g
  • Cloves – 2g
  • Cinnamon – 2g
  • Bay leaf -2g
  • Peppercorn – 2g
  • Fat – 100g
  • Water -1 L

METHOD:

  1. Shell peas.
  2. Peel and cut carrot into long thin slices.
  3. String and cut beans also into long slices.
  4. Break cauliflower into flowerets.
  5. Slice onions.
  6. Wash and drain the rice.
  7. Heat fat, fry onion till brown, add vegetables and fry slightly. Remove.
  8. Add the whole spices and rice, fry well. Add water and cook.
  9. When rice is 3/4th cooked, make a well in center, add vegetables and cover and cook on slow fire with live coal on top of the lid.
  10. Cook till rice and vegetables are done.
  11. Mix well and serve hot.
