 BOONDI RAITA

One of my favorite raita, a little crispy bite in midst of sweet sour raita!

Alongside your biriyani or pulao.

HOW TO MAKE BOONDI RAITA?

INGREDIENTS:

  • Curd – 225g
  • Chili powder – 1 tsp
  • Bengal Gram Flour – 55g
  • Coriander Leaves – ¼ bunch
  • Oil – Enough to fry
  • Salt – as per your taste.

METHOD:

  1. Make a thick batter of gram flour, chili powder, salt and cumin powder with water.
  2. Heat fat and in low lame pour the batter through a perforated spoon to make boondi.
  3. Fry till crispy.
  4. Remove and drain the oil. Let it cool down.
  5. Chop coriander leaves finely.
  6. Beat curd and mix the cool down boondi and coriander leaves together.
