RAVA DOSA

Simplest idly, the Rava Dosa. Do try it out with chutney.

HOW TO MAKE RAVA DOSA?

INGREDIENTS:

  • Rawa/Semolina – 1 cup
  • Rice flour - 1 cup
  • Maida - 1/2 cup.
  • Coriander leaves  - 2 Tbsp
  • Onion - 1 
  • Green chili - 2 
  • Ginger - 1/2 cm.
  • Oil - 3 Tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt -as per your taste

METHOD:

  1. To a bowl, take all the powders and add enough salt and mix well 
  2. Chop Green chili and ginger very finely.
  3. Add the above minced cumin seeds, ginger and green chili along with coriander leaves chopped to the mixed powders and add 3 cups of water and mix them all well.
  4. Keep it aside for 30 min closed.
  5. Chop the onion small.
  6. After 30 min, add the onion and mix well.
  7. Heat  1/2 tsp oil and spread the oil and add the batter and prepare the rava dosa . Once the side is cooked in medium flame turn it over and cook the other side and serve.
