MASALA VADA
Enjoy some Prawns Masala Vada with Chutney.

HOW TO MAKE MASALA VADA?
INGREDIENTS:
- Split red gram – 115g
- Onion – 30g
- Green chili – 1
- Red chili – 2
- Prawns – 10
- Red Chili powder – ½ tsp
- Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
- Pepper powder – 1/8 tsp
- Salt – enough as per your taste
- Oil - enough to fry
METHOD:
- Clean and wash the prawns.
- Boil the prawns with red chili, turmeric and pepper powder and enough salt till the prawns is 75% cooked.
- Wash and soak the gram for 2 hours.
- Grind coarsely the gram with whole red chili.
- Mix finely chopped onion, green chilies and salt with gram.
- Shape the mixture into 10 small rounds about .8cm thick.
- Place one prawn on top of each vada.
- Deep fry till crisp and cooked in medium flame.
