HOW TO MAKE BESAN KI BURFI?

INGREDIENTS:

  • Maida / All purpose flour - 1 cup
  • Milk powder - 1 tbsp
  • Butter - 1 Tbsp
  • Yeast - 1 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Vanilla Cream - 1 cup
  • Milk - 2 Tbsp

METHODS: 

  1. Mix 1/4 cup of hot water, sugar and yeast and keep aside for 15 mins.    
  2. To a bowl , add all purpose flour, milk powder,melted butter and salt. Mix well.
  3. Knead the dough  like chapati dough with enough yeast solution.
  4. Spread oil all over the dough and rest the dough for 1 hour till it rises double covered.
  5. After an hour knead the dough for another 2 mins divide the dough into balls and rest for another 15 mins.
  6. Preheat the oven 250°
  7. Roll gently and evenly the balls made into an round shape. Make sure its medium thick not too thin or thick.
  8. Close the edges  to the half gently (do not press them) and place it in the baking tray. Brush with milk on top. 
  9. Bake at 300°F for 20 mins.
  10. Cool them. Apply vanilla cream between the folds created on the bun and enjoy
