MASALA TEA

HOW TO MAKE BEST MASALA CHAI?

INGREDIENTS:

  • Tea Powder - 3 tsp 
  • Milk - 2 Cups (I have used Thick milk, adjust the water and milk consistency as per the thickness of the milk choice)
  • Sugar - as per your taste or 4 tsp
  • Fennel seeds - 1 Tbsp
  • Ginger grated - 1 inch
  • Cinnamon Stick - 1/2 cm
  • Clove -1 no
  • Nutmeg - 1/4 of a small nutmeg
  • Black pepper - 4
  • Cardamom - 5

METHOD:

  1. Grind and powder cardamom, black pepper, clove, cinnamon stick, fennel seeds and nutmeg.
  2. Crush or grate the ginger.
  3. Boil 2 cup of water with crushed/grated ginger. 
  4. Once it begins to boil add the tea powder and let it boil for 2 min.
  5. Now add the milk and 1/2 tsp of the prepared masala power and mix well. Allow it to boil and puff up. 
  6. Once the tea puffs up lower the flame and add the sugar and mix well for minimum 2 minutes or till your desired consistency or color of tea.
