HOW TO MAKE PANEER BHURJI?
INGREDIENTS:
- Paneer - 200g
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Green chili - 1 long
- Onion - 1 small size
- Tomato - 1 small size
- Turmeric Powder - 1/8 tsp
- Chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
- Oil/Ghee - 2 Tbsp
- Kasuri Methi/Dired Fenugreek Leaves - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Leaves - 1 Tbsp
- Salt - as per your taste
METHOD:
- Slice onion, tomato and green chili finely.
- Grate and scramble the paneer.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- In medium to low flame add cumin seeds, after 20 sec add onion and green chili and saute for a minute.
- Add the ginger garlic paste and saute till its raw smell disappears.
- Now in low flame, add the tomato and cook it till soft. Smash the tomato with spatula.
- Now add all the powdered spices and saute it raw smell disappears.
- Now add the paneer and required salt and mix well.
- Close and cook it for 5 minutes. Mix in between.
- Now crush the Kasuri Methi between your palm and add it along with chopped coriander leaves.
- Mix well for about a minute and remove from fire.
- Let it sit closed for another 2-3 minutes.
Serve hot with chapati.
