HOW TO MAKE PANEER BHURJI?

INGREDIENTS:

  • Paneer - 200g
  • Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chili - 1 long
  • Onion - 1 small size
  • Tomato - 1 small size
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/8 tsp
  • Chili powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil/Ghee - 2 Tbsp
  • Kasuri Methi/Dired Fenugreek Leaves - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 Tbsp
  • Salt - as per your taste

METHOD:

  1. Slice onion, tomato and green chili finely.
  2. Grate and scramble the paneer.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. In medium to low flame add cumin seeds, after 20 sec add onion and green chili and saute for a minute.
  5. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute till its raw smell disappears.
  6. Now in low flame, add the tomato and cook it till soft. Smash the tomato with spatula.
  7. Now add all the powdered spices and saute it raw smell disappears.
  8. Now add the paneer and required salt and mix well.
  9. Close and cook it for 5 minutes. Mix in between.
  10. Now crush the Kasuri Methi between your palm and add it along with chopped coriander leaves.
  11. Mix well for about a minute and remove from fire.
  12. Let it sit closed for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve hot with chapati.
