HOW TO MAKE PINEAPPLE KESARI?
INGREDIENTS:
- Suji/Rava - 1 cup
- Ghee - 1/2 cup
- Oil - 1/2 cup (preferably groundnut oil)
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Nuts and raisin - handful
- saffron strands - 1 tsp (or) Yellow Colour - 2-3 drops
- Pineapple chopped - 100g or 3 Tbsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
METHOD:
- Heat half of each oil and ghee in a pan .
- Roast the nuts and raisins till golden brown.
- Lower the flame and add rava/suji. Roast them for3-4 min.
- Now add the saffron strands and mix well for about 3-4 min.
- Now add the pineapple and mix well.
- Add the sugar and salt and mix them well.
- Add 2 cups of boiling water(ONLY) and mix well in low flame so that no lumps are formed for a minute.
- Add the remaining oil and cardamom powder mix well for about 30 seconds.
- Now add the ghee and close cook it for 3-4 min in low flame.
- Remove from fire and enjoy!
