PINEAPPLE KESARI

HOW TO MAKE PINEAPPLE KESARI?

INGREDIENTS:

  • Suji/Rava - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 1/2 cup 
  • Oil - 1/2 cup (preferably groundnut oil)
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Nuts and raisin - handful
  • saffron strands - 1 tsp (or) Yellow Colour - 2-3 drops
  • Pineapple chopped - 100g or 3 Tbsp
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp

METHOD:

  1. Heat half of each oil and ghee in a pan .
  2. Roast the nuts and raisins till golden brown. 
  3. Lower the flame and add rava/suji. Roast them for3-4 min.
  4. Now add the saffron strands and mix well for about 3-4 min.
  5. Now add the pineapple and mix well.
  6. Add the sugar and salt and mix them well. 
  7. Add 2 cups of boiling water(ONLY) and mix well in low flame so that no lumps are formed for a minute.
  8. Add the remaining oil and cardamom powder mix well for about 30 seconds. 
  9. Now add the ghee and close cook it for 3-4 min in low flame.
  10. Remove from fire and enjoy!
