VEGETABLE CUTLET

HOW TO MAKE VEGETABLE CUTLET?

INGREDIENTS:

  • Potato - 50g
  • Peas - 30g
  • Carrot - 30g
  •  Green chili -1 
  • Coriander Leaves - a spring
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Black Pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/8 tsp
  • Maida /Refined Flour - 2 Tsp mixed with 2 tsp of water
  • Dry Bread Crumbs - 3 Tbsp
  • Oil - enough for deep frying

METHOD:

  1. Peel the potato , scrape the carrot and shell the peas. 
  2. Boil them, cool it and mash them with food masher or grinder.
  3. Chop the green chili and coriander leaves finely.
  4. Mix the chopped green chili and coriander leaves along with mentioned spices and salt with the mashed vegetables.
  5. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape them to round or into desired shape.
  6. Coat the mixture with the maida/refined flour paste prepared. Put the crumbs on all sides of the cutlet. 
  7. Heat Oil. In medium flame deep fry the cutlet till golden brown.
  8. Drain  excess oil.
